McDonald's responds to Musk: Want us to accept dogcoin payments unless Tesla accepts Ghostface coins

McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD) responded to Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Musk on social media, saying that they want us to accept Dogcoin unless Tesla accepts Grimacecoin.

What McDonald's calls grimacecoin refers to a fictional cryptocurrency that mimics McDonald's mascot, Grimace.

Earlier, Tesla CEO Musk took to Twitter to urge McDonald's to accept dogcoin as a payment method. Musk said, "If McDonald's accepts this cryptocurrency, then he'll eat McDonald's Happy Meal on TV."

After McDonald's sent the tweet, several accounts claiming to sell Ghostface coins appeared on social media, but McDonald's is not officially involved in operating Ghostface coins.
